Flying Solo...

In My Head Well, the past 2 days have been pretty intense. I finalized some of the technicalities to open my own business at the first of the year. GAH! I can't believe I'm doing it!!!
I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Does this mean I'm becoming a grown up? There are still a number of things I have to do - buying a new computer & office furniture chief among them. For the next several weeks, I'm going to be doing my normal overflow work and immersing myself in practice guides, cashflow forecasts, and advertising review for my marketing materials.
Of course, on top of all this, I'm trying to figure out how to get Christmas gifts and shopping done for everyone. I always have the best plans for making all these wonderful gifts for friends as well as buying something special for them - so they get something original from me, as well as something I knew they would like (just in case they look at the scarf that I made or something and say to themselves, "Did she really think I would wear this in public???")
Not much else going on right now - just finished Alias Season One. I'm addicted to that show. And currently, as I'm writing this, I'm watching The Apprentice. I cannot believe that the dinkus, Ivana, attempted to sell chocolate bars for $20 in combination with dropping her skirt. How businesslike.
Okay, that's enough of my gibberish tonight. I'm going to finish some knitting and then some reading. I feel myself getting dumber by the minute due the the insane amount of TV I've been watching as of late.
