Is TV getting better, or am I lowering my standards?

It's a crazy thought, I know.  But I'm specifically referring to the 2 or 3 nights I really want to watch TV, and suddenly find myself wanting to watch a show on all the major stations at the same stinking time. 

For instance, I'm a big Alias fan, so I have to watch that.  But I also want to really watch the new Revelations show on NBC, not to mention who gets booted off American Idol and even the King of Queens.  WHAT IS A GIRL TO DO?

I can't even imagine how freaked out I would be if I had the choices cable provided. 

And I just found out I missed the first episode of the new Britney Spears/Kevin Federline reality show.  Now I'm going to go cry in my pillow. (Ha. HA HA. Seriously, I'm not that bad off. Yet.)

You've hit rock bottom. I experience the same thing. It's amazing what you become enthralled with when you only have 4 channels. Maybe it's because of less flipping.
