Welllllllllll, we're movin' on uppp!

Yes, you heard it here first.  We are finally getting cable.

I know, I know.  Where have I been, right?  You cannot even comprehend how excited I am about getting to watch all my cooking shows on Food Network or my British comedies on BBC America.  I'm stoked people!  And I'm getting it just in time to see most of the Tour de France on OLN!

Of course, I am also looking forward to weekend marathons of Law and Order, CSI and the like.  Decorating shows, Deadliest Catch, the Weather Channel, OH MY!! (Yes, I admit it, damnit.  I'm the nut who watches all those tornado specials on the Weather Channel.  And you'll catch me watching all the volcano and earthquake stuff on the Discover Channel, too!)

I'm giddy.  Like Venus Williams winning Wimbledon. (and slightly off topic - ROWRRRR to Roger Federer, where the hell have you been hiding all my life?  Have I had my head in the sand or something?
