About Me

3942414518_4246a264a9_m

My name is Michelle, and I live with my boyfriend, Jeff, and one lazy cat named Buddy. Jeff and I have known each other since we were teenagers. We became fast friends - both shameless in our affection (or perhaps affliction) for the 70's music of our childhood. After I graduated from college, Jeff and I started dating, and the rest (as they say) is history! And blog material.

Speaking of blogs, I started mine in November 2004, mainly as a way to keep in touch with friends and family. Then, in the midst of everything, I started my own business. Unfortunately, long hours and no life led to infrequent and dull blogging. Recently, however, I've been encouraged to dive back in, and I'm currently combing and purging the archives so that you don't have to suffer quite so much.

I divide my time between running my own business, knitting, amateur photography, buying new flip-flops and watching So You Think You Can Dance. I'm a bit of an Anglophile, and I have a special weakness for British mysteries in both written and televised formats.

Jeff and I recently relocated from Dallas, Texas to Highlands Ranch, Colorado, where we're currently taking up space in my parents' basement. I'm building up my business here while Jeff looks for a new job, and (fingers crossed!) we'll be back into our own place soon.
